Thanks to everyone who attended yeseteday's event. Over the next few days we'll start to put up highlights of the event. In the meantime if you have any comments on the event please leave them below. The first 20 will receive a copy of the Venice Festival Best in Show CD featuring the world's best media ideas courtesy of Marco Rimini.
Thanks again for yesterday's IPA/The Times 'Dragon's Den' conference - it was useful, informative and interesting to hear the different agencies presenting their cases. Not sure what the rationale was behind inviting poor old Richard Storey down from M&C Saatchi though, to present his case study for The UK Police Force. Personally I thought he got a rough ride from the dragons and through no fault of his own. How could he possibly demonstrate 'effectively building The Police's business' when all his results data is classified and restricted by the Home Office? He was on a hiding-to-nothing before he'd even set foot in the place...
ReplyDeleteRight, there's my two-penneth's worth, so can I now please get a copy of Marco Rimini's Media 'Cream' DVD from the Venice Festival please? Thanks
Mark Ellis, Business Development Director, Smarter Communications
Thanks Mark, Can you provide your address and we'll get you a CD.
ReplyDeleteHi Rob. I wish I could've been there. Now, is the Venice Festival Best in Show CD offer only for those who attended the event? Because I'd really like one. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust read the article about this in the IPA newsletter.
ReplyDeleteAstonishingly it reckons that De Beers sold 8.6bn right hand rings which is impressive since there are only 6bn right hands.
If I was a proper planner I'd know what penetration that represented.
sam, yes it is only for those who attended. you ask marco rimini for a copy.
