A few years as a professional theatre director led to the creation of a digital marketing agency for the Arts and media sector and some of the first digital marketing in the UK. Spells marketing at the BBC, the Arts Council of England and UK charities led to Martin joining glue as Planning Director and a founding partner in 2000. Martin is a regular lecturer at the Institute of Direct Marketing, a founding member of the IPA Direct Marketing Committee and writes and lectures widely on digital and brand marketing. Martin has been running the planning department at glue since it's inception.
